Jeramie
Im looking for reloading information for Hornady V-max (.243, 6mm) and .30-06 (Corelokt). I cant find an online chart for either. Ive found some information from individuals but I wont trust them.... Anyone know of good information that can be found online for either cal? Ive looked at www.hornady.com but I cant find reloading info on their website... Jeramie
Strut10
Hit the powder manufacturers websites. Try Hodgdon, IMR and Accurate Arms for starters. If you can't find data for that precise bullet, take the starting load from another of the same weight and work up slowly/cautiously from there. The starting load for one bullet of the same caliber & weight will be O.K. to try on another similar bullet. Max loads for bullets of like caliber and weight can vary widely, though, due to bearing surface, crimp, etc. NEVER assume that a max load for a .30 caliber 150 gr. bullet "X" is cool to use with a 150 gr. bullet "Y".
