Turkeygirl
I took this photo yesterday, with the old family Kodak digital, my new one hasn't come yet. It is a Tiger Swallowtail and was on some wild Phlox (another name for them, can't remember it) growing by my mom's flower gardens. Thought it was neat. Butterflies are another part of God's creation that makes you think "Wow....."

Tominator
Cool. Eastern Tiger Swallowtails are big! Your flower is actually Dames Rocket, and is in the mustard family. Phlox has 5 petals, Dames Rocket has 4. It's considered a noxious weed, but I let it grow around my place, I think it's pretty.
Guest JamesA
We love butterflies as well. Here are some butterfly photos my wife and I took at the butterfly exhibit at The American Museum Of Natural History in NY. It was a nice day so we headed over to the Central Park Zoo as well. http://cjaphotography.com/Butterfly Exhibit - Central Park Zoo.html
