Zoomed in on these turkeys in a field: Looks to me to maybe be a hen and with two boys partly puffed up..what do you think? I can kind of see a beard on the one when I zoomed in on the photo. Bachflock Posted June 4, 2007 Report Share Posted June 4, 2007 Very cool. I saw my first turkeys in weeks yesterday. They were on the edge of a hay field, just inside the edge of the field itself. They looked like all red-heads but the hay was to high for me to see any beards. I threw out a gobble and they all stood straight up and watched me drive by. Kind of comical really! A year or two ago while I was bow hunting deer I video taped 2 or 3 gobblers in full strut following a hen or two through the woods. This all happened in October. It was neat to see to say the less.
