Squirrelhunter91
I've been itching since the warm weather hit to go do some fishing and now with turkey season over, I was able to go yesterday. My little brothers and I went up to a pond on top of a mountain we have access to through our land. But anyway, we fished for about an hour. I caught 3 bluegill and 2 10" bass, my little brother Michael caught one bluegill and my other brother AJ didn't catch anything. The bluegill looked like this: We were using worms for the bluegill, but I got bored with using worms so I switched to a 1/4 oz red/brass spinner that is killer on pickerel and bass. First cast, the lure hit the water and I got to reel it in once when a bass nailed it. I reeled him in to reveal a 10" largemouth bass. Next cast in the same spot, brought in another 10" largemouth. They seemed to be hiding under this one particular patch of lily pads. Here are pics of both the bass:
Guest Andrea
Congrats on the catch Joe. As long as you're catching them, it doesn't really matter what size they are.
