Turkeygirl
Sat down today and finally fletched 6 of my new Beman ICS Hunters 500. I think I'm going to have my quiver full of all the blue deer footprint/skull ones, but my personalized yellow ones crested with turkey prints and a blue turkey next to my initials...well I really like those too! It's hard to get Blazers to lay perfect on the shaft but I think I did a good job minus the glue seeping a little out from under the edges. Oh yeah, the blue ones have 2 white and 1 blue Blazers, the yellow ones have 2 neon yellow and one 1 white Blazers So what do you think? What should I have in my quiver come archery season? LifeNRA
So what do you think? What should I have in my quiver come archery season? Which ever ones that shoot the best!!! Very nice work! I found out that you need to hold the clamp for about 30 seconds for a good bond to the wrap. You might have to hold it longer depending on what glue you use. Guest bowhunter56
They look good Ruth, either will be easy to follow in flight. What i do when putting vanes on. After i run a very light bead of glue on the vane, i just tab vane edge where the glue is, on a paper towel, this removes alot of excess, but still leaves a nice layer of glue on the vane, this will help or prevent the glue form seeping out. Born4it
I think I like...both! Haha..they're both very sharp! I'd definitely use the yellow ones for turkey season and the blue ones for deer! Nice work. Good luck, Ryan
