need2hunt
I'm in the market for a new bow this year and have been looking and trying some bows. I'm leaning toward the Mathews Drenaline. Was just wondering what the price is for the bare bow in your area? Also if you have a Drenaline I would appreciate any feedback - good or bad. Thanks! BowtechTurkeyHunter
Shot one I think it has more hand shock then the switchback ... if I were to buy a mathews it would definately without a doubt be the switchback ... I think that is the perfect bow with a mathews name on it ... period Steve

tedicast
My local shop had the dren for $729. I bought the bare bow for $689 plus tax. When I shot the Dren, and the Switchback XT side by side, both with just a rest on them, the Dren had a bit more shock then the XT. It was also noticably lighter then the XT, and I'm sure this was part of the reason for the hand shock. I opted for the Dren, over the XT. The Dren was lighter, faster, and just felt better in my hand. When I got he Dren home, and set up, I was amazed that 95% of the hand shock was gone, A little bit of weight added to the bow made a huge difference. Set up with the same equiptment, the Dren was almost a pound lighter then my Outback. The draw cycle of the Dren is amazing, thought honestly, I liked the back wall on the outback a little better. All in all, I am not the least bit sorry that I shelled out the money for the Drenalin.
