.....for the first time in 75 years. Congrats to the Mighty Ducks. They were certainly a better team then Ottawa, especially last night.

Ottawa had a dominating run up to this point but it sure ended quickly. I'm not sure if the long layoff between the Conference and Cup Finals hurt them but Emery, Spezza, Heatley etc.... did not show up in this series. Alfreddson was the only one who looked like he wanted to win last night. I was a little surprised to see that.

Again, congrats to the Ducks. They played awesome.

PS---Bettman better figure out how to get hockey on ESPN ASAP.

I can't stand the guy! He's probably never laced up a skate in his life.

That's gotta sting the Canandian community a little, ey?

I'm sure it does.I just can't get used to seeing palm trees outside of a barn during the Finals....just doesn't seem right, but the Ducks do seem to draw in pretty good crowds.I think as far as players go,the Ducks probably have more Canadian players than any other team.I think all but two players are Canadian.

I totally agree with buckbuster11 that Bettman has to change so that the NHL is back on ESPN. After the lockout, many fans just turned their backs on the NHL which really hurt everyone. I heard that next year they hope to get some games on ESPN and see how the ratings are to see if they will have more games on.
