elkoholic Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 While I have had many encounters with bruins, both the black and grizzly kind, it seems that I seldom manage to get any pictures, but this time I actually remembered to take out the camera and snap a few pictures. The bear was standing in the shade and I was in the bright sun so the pictures did not turn out that well, and when it spotted me it bolted down the hill. The bus driver had no inclination to stop. We also had one down town on our "main" street about 6 years ago. He stayed in town about an hour before wandering off.
