I don't think he's going to be a monster but it was nice to see a buck that was forming points and sprouting past the ears. Gonna have to keep tabs on him and hopefully one of my clients will get a crack at him. Anyone else been doin any scoutin? Tominator Posted June 11, 2007 Report Share Posted June 11, 2007 Not scouting per se, but have been seeing a bachelor group hanging around. One of them is a nice deer. Saw him last night bedded down about 700 yards away, and I could clearly see his antlers without the aid of binocs. When I finally got my binocs on him, he's going to be a nice deer. I've seen him twice now, and I'm seeing what I think are probably his prints in my vegetable gardens. Big splay, and deep prints all the way down to the dew claws. A nice deer for sure.
