Sharpening Montecs

Sure you can use a regular stone. You'll also need a piece of leather to polish the edge after you get it sharpened to where you want it with the stone. Finishing it off by polishing the edge with leather will give it that razor sharp edge you want.

What happened is that I shot a couple deer with the broadheads and they have dried blood and a couple hairs on them. Could I just wash them off and use them if I clean them very well? Thanks for your help!

I'd give them a good wash, then run them over the flat stone going in one continuous direction. One stroke on each side as you rotate the head. After finishing with the stone, then use a piece of leather. They'll be back to the original shape in no time.

I switched to their new head the Striker, no need to sharpen them,,,,scary sharp.

will their striker broadhead fly the same as the g5 montec?
