need2hunt
Just wondered if anyone has used the EZE-crest lumawraps (I think thats what they are called) and if so what they thought of them. Here's my thought (laugh if you want) I'm in need of some new arrows and am planning on getting a dozen 5575 Goldtip XT's. Also planning on getting a dozen white reflective wraps and some blazers for vanes. I had used some luminoks last year and while they were cool when they worked the cost IMO is to much for something that doesn't always work ($30 per 3). So my thought was to get some of these glow in the dark wraps ($25 for 12, 7" wraps) and cutting them down to 1" wraps, which would let me wrap a total of 84 arrows ($840 worth of luminoks:p). I would add the 1" glow wrap by the knock and a full reflective wrap in front of it, the vanes would be added at or slightly past the 1" mark so it shouldn't cause a problem with fletching. If these work like they are suposed to, they would give me a (guaranteed) benefit of a luminok in low light conditions without the cost. And with having the reflective in front of it it gives me another option of finding my arrow in the dark (or light) So now that I rambled on I just really want to know if anyone has any experience with the luma wraps, good or bad. Thanks
VermontHunter
We won't laugh at ya Gary ... :D YES, I agree the lighted nocks are upredictable and are over priced ... I think what you are trying to attempt is this if Im correct... These are Goldtip 5575's wrapped with white reflective wraps and fletched with black 2" blazer vanes... The Wraps were at one time 7" long,, I just cut them down to 3.5" giving me twice the amount.... I think the Eze-Eye Wraps are also over priced IMHO... you can get a dozen reflective wraps on ebay for far less.. I know there are several people in here who buy them from reliable sources maybe they can give a few names... GOOD LUCK with your quest,,, be sure to show us all the end result....:) Just one link for ya to check out.... http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/search.php?searchid=5175072 http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=449259&highlight=reflective+wraps
need2hunt
Way to go Luke ya ruined it for me LOL I have a BassPro gift certificate for $300 that I'm trying to use for stuff I need for the upcoming season, had it down to using it all but seven cents. Now I'm going to have to get my reflectives from onestringer and I got to figure out what to do with the extra $20 at Bass Pro now. Such a terrible problem to have So far I'm getting some Goldtips, the glow in the dark wraps, 3 different types of blazers, some Rage 2 blade broadheads and a Weston 5000 rpm arrow saw - well that was until I have to refigure it for the extra $20 I have now LOL Probably change the whole list now just for fun

LifeNRA
I think it was VTbowman that uses the 3M tape. Comes in a 1" roll. Allows you to make the size you want. But I like them from Onestringer! Gonna have to see what kind of sizes I can get in a few months!
Jeramie
HEY GARY! READ THIS! If you dont have a problem with cammo GT's I found a heck of a deal on EBAY for a dozen XT shafts (or at least I think its a good deal). I bought 12-shafts with inserts and nocks, not fletched (bare shaft) for $55tyd. I wanted bare shafts anyway so I could fletch my own. It worked out great. well packaged, showed up in just a few days (I paid with paypal). Im very happy with them. The same batch of arrows at BP was something like $85.
