hoytguy08
I've heard a lot about these cams already, some bad some good. But let me say I love this cam so far!!! I got it this morning and have been playing with it all day, it is super fast w/ very sharp pics, and is exactly as described in the ads (FINALLY A CAM THAT PERFORMS AS ADVERTISED). I put the cam out in the timber not to long ago, so when i check it i'll post pics.
wtnhunt
Hope it works well for you. The new moultries are supposed to be the cams to compete with homebrews with faster triggers and better performance. Have been hoping to hear or read some reviews on them. Guess I need to check back over at jesseshunting or at the chasingame sites and see if there are any reviews posted on them there yet. hoytguy08
the chasingame review is in progress on this cam and so far they seem to like it as well.
wtnhunt
Yeah, I looked earlier after I posted in here and looked as though there may be some battery life issues though. Guess we will see.
kyarcher
hoytguy. Does the camera go into sleep mode like Moultrie's past cameras? The older cameras would take several seconds before waking up and then take the picture.

The older cameras would take several seconds before waking up and then take the picture. the cam is lightning fast within the first two min., but after that there is a slight delay, my guess is about two seconds, which is still very capable of trail use. The delat is no where near the old cams, and when i was testing it in my yard i waited an 20 minutes after setting it up and rode my dirtbike by at about 35 ft going about 5-10 mph and it caught me in the middle of the frame. like i said, this cam is a great improvement over the early ones ( i also own one of those), and i couldn't be any happier w/ it so far, and i do use it as a TRAIL cam.... I'll be posting pics in the near future.
