JimT
Took my girlfriend out night time topwater lure bass fishing the other night for the first time. She ended up catching her biggest bass ever, 4.7 pounds. Then about twenty minutes later I caught my biggest ever, 7.2 pounds. What a great night. I had another nice one snap me off at the canoe. That one was six pounds easy. All in all an awsome night. My catch will be at the taxidermist next week...Should look good on the wall. Just thought I would share... SuperMn106
Nice job Jim. Sounds like you guys had some fun. I dont really know how to judge them by weight, How long were they? If i am guessing right I want to say the 4.7 pounder would be close to 21 inches? and the 7.2 would be around 23-24?
Guest Andrea
CONGRATS!!! Sounds like a blast. I wanna try bass fishing for stripers at night. You need to post some pics!!! You know better!!!! LOL
JimT
I have pics but no way to post them. I do not have the net at home. Mine was 24" long and hers was 20 probably. I did not measure it, but I would guess hers to be right there. I have caught all my biggest bass at night, that includes stripers. My biggest stripers are 40",41", and 43". All caught on cut mackeral from shore. We are fishing again friday night. Let you know...
