yes, andrea. a shrinkwrap package for fish and wildlife freezer packages. i want a good one, one that works the best. thanks.

I have a the FoodSaver Advanced design. Works great! Bought it on sale. I have two deer completely vacuum sealed. But it will do fish as well! The trick is to not vacuum it to the point where the liquid goes into the pump! It also depends on how much you want to spend! Cabela's has them up to around $1500! But then that is probably the commericial units.

Here is what I have.

We have a Foodsaver but it seems to be on the blink lately. It's the Foodsaver Vac300. Might be better off with the one like LifeNRA is talking about.;)

I have a good Foodsaver. It works great, but honestly, I freeze my fish in a ziplock quart sized bag, and fill it with water and seal it with the water to the top. Fish will keep for 2 years or even a little longer. The foodsaver way works, but the water way works best.

But, for game, the Foodsaver is the way to go. Mine cost about $150, and it's well worth it. Just a tip though, only use the Foodsaver bags. The Black & Decker ones from Walmart will work in it, but are somewhat of a pain in the butt to work with.
