Deb
Up to 1 hour ago, I loved my Sprint service, but I got a better price by bundling with ATT. I've been on hold or cutoff for the last hour. If I ever get through to the acct dept they will never hear from me again. Maybe that's their tactic. I'm still on hold as I type. An hour and 8 minutes later, I have a final date of sevice!!! Sorry about the venting!

Tominator
Yep, Sprint plain sucks. I was pretty happy to see that Embarq bought them. Had terrible service from them. My phone line laid in my lawn for over a year before I finally got my brother to bury it for them. Losers.

Guest Lab_Cab
Yep, Sprint plain sucks. I was pretty happy to see that Embarq bought them. Had terrible service from them. My phone line laid in my lawn for over a year before I finally got my brother to bury it for them. Losers. Embarq did not buy Sprint. Sprint was required to spin off their local service as part of the FCC's approval of the Nextel acquisition. Sprint spun off Embarq (the former local division of Sprint) as a new, separate company. Embarq now provides all the local service formerly provided by Sprint and is run by former Sprint people, including their call centers. So for all intents and purposes, Sprint = Embarq, at least in the short term.
