Squirrelhunter91
Was shooting just a few minutes ago and when I released this arrow, it blew up upon release. I didn't get any carbon splinters in my arm but the back end of this arrow split. I can honestly say I've never had this happen before. Oh and I know in the pics that there was a hole in my fletching.. Them blazers can have holes and tears in them and they still fly great! But anyway here's a couple of pics: There must have been a crack in the shaft before I shot. I can't think of anything else t hat could have done that. I've never really paid attention to that warning on the arrows. I think I just might do that now.

BowtechTurkeyHunter
I have caught broken arrows before just simply by flexing them ... makes me wonder what would happen ... well not exactly after seeing those pictures above ... Squirrelhunter91
Luke.. they're Beman Black Max 500's. Beman usually makes good arrows out of high grade carbon. These aren't cheapo shafts either. $90/doz fletched $80/doz shafts.

Jeramie
Eeeek! That could have been really painful! I have to admit, I never check mine. I typically notice if something isnt right but I dont go out of my way to check them... Stupid, I know.

Born4it
That probably freaked me out just enough to make me look over all of my arrows just in case! Thanks, Ryan
hoytguy08
those pics are disturbing!, i once saw a guy at a local archery shop that accidentally shot with the arrow off the rest and the arrow went right into the back of his hand, it was the nastiest injury i've ever seen
