Morality problems at work, let's ask islam

I just had to bust a gut over this.

Islam is a pretty screwed up religion, just being honest with you. However, even islam is having to cope with its transition into modern times, which includes relations between men and women.

It seems that as women in the islamic world crawl out of their male imposed mud hut prisons and become active in the work force, there is a new problem arising....muslim men and women who aren't related being in the same room. But do not fear, the Egyptian Clerics have a solution. What would that be?

Well, to quell the uneasiness of unrelated men and women being in the same room or working together, the cleric of Egypt decided on a plan....a very simple plan to avoid any impropriety.

Joking? Nah, heres the article: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/12/world/middleeast/12fatwa.html?_r=3&hp=&oref&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

There are other interesting teachings in Islam. Oversleeping is a bad thing for a Muslim, to say the least. The following is from a Isalmic site dealing with personal hygiene:

WASH YOUR EARS FROM INSIDE IF YOU WAKE UP LATE

If you wake up late in the morning and miss the fajr prayer, Satan who spends the night in your nose walks out and urinates in your ears. It results in ear infection.

Bukhari Volume 2, Book 21, Number 245:

Narrated 'Abdullah :

A person was mentioned before the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and he was told that he had kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer. The Prophet said, "Satan urinated in is ears."

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 492:

Narrated 'Abdullah:

It was mentioned before the Prophet that there was a man who slept the night till morning (after sunrise). The Prophet said, "He is a man in whose ears (or ear) Satan had urinated."
