Guest Rhinodog
I bought one of these last week, but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Anyone have experience with them?
Jeramie
Ive never shot a 500 S&W but have shot several, several NEF (or H&R) Rifles. Great gun for the money. Very accurate and far easier on the pocket book than most. The rifle itself will treat you well! You didnt go wrong there. However, might I suggest a good recoil pad? For those looking for comparison on a 500 S&W

Jeramie
Im not sure what he paid for his but typically a brand new H&R (or NEF, they are the same rifle) will run just over $200. Sometimes you can pick one up cheaper (depending on the Cal, stock you get, etc). From what ive seen they hold their value really well too. Go try to find a .223 at a gun show for $150. It really isn't going to happen. I often see them for over $200 used. They are a good way to try different Cal's!
hangunnr
That's gonna be a handful with the 440gr loads. Invest in a good recoil pad... hangunnr
