Guest Andrea
Here's the color we are going with. The trim will be almost white. Just a slight hint of green in it. The tin roof is Galvalume ( just unpainted tin). No one has a house like this around here, but there's a few down on the beach. I am excited to get some color on this thing now!!!!:) This is it in the sunlight and not dry yet: This is it in the shade:
wtnhunt
Like the color of the siding behind the green, about the same as our siding. Would go good as the base color with the shutters and trim in the first color you posted there. Think the green as the base color with the shutters and trim in the second color in my opinion would be a mistake, but that is just my opinion. Guest Andrea
Here's a picture of a home in Destin on the beach that has the same color:

buckee
If your going to go with those colors, I would go with a nice plain white trim, not a tinted trim. It will picture frame it better.
Guest Andrea
Yeah, it's so close to being white, we might as well use white for the trim.

Guest Finn
Like the colors, but the texture with the OSB isn't my favorite
wildside
It's exactly the color that I was thinking of from the beginning! I really like it! You'll have to share a photo of the house once it's all done.
Deb
Yes, a very clean, crisp combination, I like it. Whew, I bet deciding a final color is a load off your mind. I've painted my entire house a month ago, except for the kitchen and I still can't decide what color it will be.
texastrophies
It looks nice, Andrea. I like it.
buckee
By the way Andrea, that's the greeny-toupe I was talking about in my first suggestion, and variations of it. It's the same colour I have on some walls inside my house:p;) It's going to look awesome, with that wrap-around porch all in white...just awesome. Guest Andrea
Thanks guys. I sure hope so. It was a toss up between that and a greyish-blue color. But my favorite color is GREEN so I am happy with this. They are putting up the soffit under the porch and the cans for the recessed lighting on the porches.

BowJoe
Honestly they say the best houses for the environment are ones with white roofs or a reflective roof. Don't know exactly why but I think it has to do with heat retention.
