Tonight , I clicked on the homepage to see if my Rio hunt was on the on -line journal . As the screen came up I saw the tribute story and read it. It was a very well written piece ( kudo's to whom ever put it together). But It shows you how fragilw life can be . Very humbling just when you think your having a bad day ..think of his family.

once again whom ver wrote the piece thanks

Guys, Jake Fagan in our Marketing Department is responsible for that story and I emailed him tonight and thanked him for a great tribute. I hope David's family and friends have the opportunity to read it. What a great story. S

Jake did a great job. Great tribute. I miss David too. :(

Very nice job Team Realtree, a fitting tribute to a great human being that I am glad I got to know on here. One story I never wanted to have to read about any member on here but seeing this ordeal was out of our hands and in God's I think this story will touch all of us and make us remember David in our lives and mostly in our hunts.

That night when Buckee, BowtechTurkeyHunter (Steve) and myself starting putting together the pieces of that plane crash and realizing it was indeed our Exturkinator who lost his life along with 5 others was probably the worse time to ever be on here but the compassion we all have on here goes to show how great this place is and how we lean on each other in times of sorrow.

David will always be a Team Realtree Member and I am glad that feature story is touching the hearts of his friends and I am glad this place is here for all of us no matter what God sends our way.

I haven't checked in for a few days, but it was nice to see that someone had done what I had been thinking should be done. To see a tribute to David on the home page warmed my heart. I never met David, or even recall chatting with him or responding to posts, but just the simple fact that he was and is a member here had tears rolling down my cheeks as I read the article. Thanks Jake.
