wtnhunt
Took some pics of the plots this morning. Still terribly dry here. Need rain bad, but the plots seem to be doing fair considering the lack of moisture. First two here are my daughters plot, the twra mix of grains, peas, lespedeza, and beans. These are of our RR forage soybeans from eagle seeds, the deer are already eating the tops of the beans. There are tracks everywhere in this plot, including the first fawn tracks I have seen this year in the last pic. Got to say I am impressed so far with how the deer are hitting these beans. Just hoping they dont overbrowse it. Have never planted beans in a plot without sorghum. Guess we will see.
Tominator
Looking good William. I may get a pic of my plot, but to be honest, it looks about the same as it did 2 weeks ago because it's been so dry.

Guest macoop
Nice!! I'm new to this board and planting food plots. This is the first year for me to plant anything but I cleared one acre in the thickest mesquite on my place and put up a deer proof fence to keep them out until I get ready to let them in. They are a little skeptical but they are starting to go in now. I planted LabLab and milo. Seems to be doing good with all of the rain here in Texas. If I could figure out how to insert an image, I would attach a pic.

Sent you a message with a link to a post in the lounge that may be helpful. There is also tutorial in the photo room pinned to the top. SoybeanMan
WTN, Hope you get some rain today. We have all our research plots in here comparing our RR forage soybean to regular RR soybeans. We will be measuring overal height and biomass. Our new vining Roundup Ready Soybean looks great. I have it with our RR forage soybean and RR corn and with our soybean only. Another great thing about late maturing soybean is that you have a wider window of planting. I will post some pics soon.
wtnhunt
WTN, Hope you get some rain today. We got very little over night, but guess something is better than nothing, just wish we would have gotten more. Most of the precip went south of us, and looks like our chances for rain the rest of the day are not very good:(.
