maddhunter
I've got a 1901 Harington & Richards Arms Co. single shot 12ga. and am trying to find out how much it is worth. The barrel is rapped steel. Does anyone know how to go about finding out how much this gun is worth?
popgun
Without the model number it is a little hard to determine, but most of the Harrington & Richardson single barrel models in my book show between $30 and $75. It looks like you are describing a Damascus barrel, which cannot handle modern loads. They were made for Black powder in brass casing shells that didn't produce the pressures of todays ammo. It would be my estimation that if it has one of these barrels that it would be worth even less and best for a wall hanger. Too bad too, because the polished up Damascus barrel is a pretty thing to behold. Let us know if you have a model number. Hope this helps. ....popgun
