WVdeerhunter
Sorry but it dont work. Put some out for some deer aroud the house that was at the feeder evey day and they would walk all over it and never even tryed it. If you want to put something out try apple flaver corn 7-8$ a 50lb bag and they will Knock you down for it.LOL
FSU_Seminole
I was thinking about trying some of this, during this upcoming season, and was wondering if you guys have had any experince with it? I've used this product before & it does work. But here is the catch. It works best as a spring mineral lick. I've used it before as a lure, no luck. I then tried it as a mineral lick in the spring. What I did was use the c'mere deer as a base. I use this at the very bottom of a mineral lick. I dig a circular depression in the ground about 6 inches deep, pour c'mere deer powder. Then I cover this up with a little dirt then I pour whatever minerals I'm using on top of c'mere deer then mix it with top soil, my mineral licks have been fantastic. C'mere deer works in big woods & places where their aren't many preferred forages for deer. If you are up against soybeans, corn, oats, acorns ect ect save your money if you want to use this as an "attractant". If you are looking for something to attract deer, I would suggest the Trophy Rock. That thing WORKS where I hunt. I've bought about 20 trophy rocks over 3 years & I can't keep them on the ground. Whether its spring, summer, winter or fall. Deer where I hunt love them & they are only 15$.
Hound
I agree with using trophy rock.I got some buried beside my stump with c'mere deer and the bucks love it ,they are starting to dig a hole in the ground to get it.I think yall should check out my pics on photobucket/houndbgl.com.I would like to show yall that even though the trophy rock is there the bucks tend to still pay more attention to the c'mere deer stump.I got different pics of these locations so feel free to browse around and look at them.I would like for you to look at the dates to so you will understand that bucks use these sight all year if left alone. Guest turkeynutz64
I tryed the trophy rock this year! But made the mistake of putting it where the cows could get to it! It lasted three days and it was gone! Im not far from Perry Ok. and have not had any luck with c'mere deer on any of my properties! I wish I could brag about it, but it just dont work for me!! wtnhunt
As far as minerals are concerned, best results we have had have also come from the use of trophy rocks. Our coop sells them for around $13.
Guest bigalt78
i think all the attractant food sources in the jugs are pretty much a waste except the buckjam it works good and its cheap. The way i look at it is why go buy a jug of something that isnt even natural for deer to eat for 20 or 30 dollars when you could spend 4 to 7 dollars on a hundred pound bag of corn. I use to get my corn for 4 something a hundred pounds, and corn works better then anything but everyone should check and make sure that it is legal to bait deer in your state in ohio you can bait deer during the season and i take advantage of that. Luckily i have a buddy who is a farmer and he'll sell me a truck load of corn in my truck with the 8ft. bed and he'll fill it up right pass the wheel well for just 120 bucks and that'll last me pretty much the whole season. kuntryboy
I have tried the powder and the liquid and at diffrent times of the year and the only time the deer even notice that its there is when i pour it on corn but they eat the corn anyway! I have started using rice bran, also known as buck bran in comerical form. it works well but has to stay dry ! i can get a 50# sack for 7 bucks at my feed store and it lasts a lot longer than corn does . sskybnd
i can tell you it works, we were getting around a 1000 pics a week between 2 of us, we started feeding our deer around sept, i dont know what was more expensive, the 50lbs of rosted soybeans $16.00 a bag, the 4 bags of corn, $ 24.00, 160lbs and a gal of cmeer deer $25.00 but we were spending around $59.00 a week, we would put it out on sunday and by next friday we would have to take a bag of corn to the stand becouse it would be all eaten. we would spread the cmeer deer over the corn and the soybeans and the have started making a hole in the ground where it was, my buddy has a hole next to his stand that if a squirel goes down in it you never see him, so i would say it works, and to keep feeding them, it does get rather expensive.
