Guitarists - Digitech RP150 Effects Pedal with Acoustics

I'm a very basic rhythm guitar player and play primarily acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars in church. I have also started to learn the bass (Peavey Milestone II 4 string).

I've been looking at the Digitech RP150 effects pedal. Anyone else use this or have any experience with it?

Any thoughts on how it would compliment my style and setup (including the bass)?

I love Digitech stuff. They make quality processors.

However, Im not sure how it would mesh with an acoustic and or base. Ive played a Digitech through electrics but never had and amazing sound out of an acoustic. Personally I like to have a decent quality amp and a good chorus pedal for an acoustic. Right now Im playing mine through a Crate amp with a Dean Stomp box (Chorus). Thick, rich, and clean.

I guess it all depends on the sound you're trying to get. If you're going for very clean with some chorus keep it simple. If you're looking to add tons of effects (echo, hall, etc) then go for it.

You'll be able to do a lot with the bass being it is "Electric". Most processors have an electric feel to them so it can only accentuate the bass. With the acoustic I bet it turns you from Clean to a little electric sound....

Regardless, those processors are a blast!

I have a Digitech RP80 processor. There fun to play with and they can do alot of differant effects, modeling, and such. But if you're interested in a certain tone or effect, you'd probably be better off getting a good pedal to do what you want--and a good amp like Jeremie said
