NiteRunner
I was walking my coonhound around yesterday and he wanted to go on the 4-Wheeler path around our field. Went for a little and turned around to come back. Well I notice there's a little bit of white in the ground about an Inch laying flat with the dirt. Got to looking and it appeared to be the base of a Shed! So I started kicking away some of the dirt and there's a Brow tine attached! Tried getting more away and ended up uncovering a broken piece of the main beam. I thought to myself "Heck I Need a Shovel!" So I come back with shovel in hand and minutes later a nice Shed is found! It wasn't no real small one either, 5-points, with 6" 1/2" Tines. It was stuck Tines down and packed in there pretty good. I'm guessing it's been there a few years and that most likely a tractor tire shoved it down in like that. Just a couple chews in it too. Has anyone ever found one like that? Tominator
Cool. I've found a couple partially in the dirt, but nothing I ever needed a shovel for. Good eye!
toddyboman
Sweet find. Can't say that I have ever had to use a shovel to find a shed. Any pics of the shed.
dfol20
Its amazing how the littlest things stick out sometimes. Once when I was mushroom hunting/shed hunting Iwalked by the cedar tree and saw a this little brown stick looking thing sticking out of the ground. It was maybe an inch long, I grabbed it and pulled on it and a whole 4-point antler came out of the ground. I was amazed. Also not far away I found a huge shed with great mass back in a tangle of dead trees. It was a pretty old shed and a lot of people must have walked right by it because it was on public land and at least a couple years old.
