"New" Old Recurve Bow -- Best Arrows ??

If it's an older bow with a B-50 string and you draw 28" or less,I'd probably go with a 2016 aluminum.If you draw longer than 28" or the bow uses a fast-flite string,a 2018 may work out better.If you plan on using wood shafts-45#-50# spine w/ B-50 or 50#-55# with fast-flite or longer draw.As for carbons-don't know much about them.

A 45# bow will blow an arrow right thru a deer out to 20-25yds with a razor sharp head.Stick with a 2-blade head.Zwickey,Magnus,Ace,Journeyman,etc. are all good bh's but usually need to touched up out of the package-any one of these will do the job if you put it where it's supposed to go.
