TxStarr
I've got the new bow with the right draw length (two inches shorter than it was!!) but am wondering about a kisser button. Hubby has one he puts in the corner of his mouth and he loves it and suggested I put one on my bow to help me pull back to the same place every time. The guy that put my string loop on made a larger end on the top so I could feel it in the corner of my mouth. Problem is, the more I practice the more trouble I am having feeling it in the corner of my mouth (I think the string is wearing down on the end). How do y'all feel about kisser buttons? Do you use them? Do you like them? Any suggestions other than a kisser button? Thanks, Shannon
LifeNRA
I use one, and will not be without one. I have the larger kind and can feel it through my mask when I draw back! Sure does help keep the same anchor points!

Rhino
If it helps you to draw to the same anchor point every time, go for it. I don't use one but my anchor point is my release in the corner of my mouth. Essentially my release does the same job as a kisser button. Guest bowhunter56
I use and suggest one, it's another anchor point, for consistent shooting,,your husband can put it on, and adjust it for you..
TuffnufOutdoors
I used one for years along with a peep site. It does help you draw to the same point. It can be hard to feel during hunting with a mask, I also had to get used to it since it would rub my lip raw at first. Right now I am trying a pin site and cross hair on the back. With this set up it is more like rifle sight. The kisser throws that off. But will see if I like it.

Guest Finn
I took my peep off and put on a kisser button 3 years ago. Really like shooting like this.
wtnhunt
Got just a peep here, want as little on my string as possible.
Guest Hold_em_Archery
I've shot with a peep for years and when I got my new SB XT this year, I thought I would try without one. Well, that lasted for about a week. I went out and got another one. It REALLY does help to keep a consistent anchor point. IMO, anything to help make that anchore point consitent is worth it. Especaiily a peep that will run you around $3.00 and you can put it on yourself. Can't beat it!! Good luck.
Dogg6
I use and won't shoot without it. But it comes down to what feels the best to you. Try one, you can always take it off if you don't like it. You wouldn't be out a lot of money. But, I bet if you try it you will keep it. Switchback29A1
Ive always used one, last year I went to a slanted kisser button and that was great, would deffiently suggest using one.
wildside
I'd feel naked without mine. Honestly, like so many others have written, it's all about anchor points for consistant shooting. I've never had any trouble with being able to feel the button through my facemask, either. My vote is for you to give it a try.

dodgeman1
also if you don't like a kisser maybe try a rubber cushion button tied in one spot in your string
Guest AReed
A kisser button is a great idea for keeping the same anchor point every time you shoot. I love mine.

Leo
If you have whiskers a kisser button can be painful! Also if you plan on hunting in below freezing weather, a kisser button on the corner of your mouth is a good way to send part of your lips downrange! Your lip can freeze to a kisser almost instantly in cold weather. In cold weather I prefer to set my kisser button to anchor below my lip in the crease above my chin.
