buckee Posted June 26, 2007 Report Share Posted June 26, 2007 "WILL and LEO's ADANSONIA ADVENTURE" "African Bowhunting Video" I would like to thank Will, LEO and other HuntingResource.com members for bringing Africa to my living room and encourage all Realtree.com members to treat themselves to this wonderful DVD. If you have any interest at all in Hunting, Disappointments, adventure, African game, awesome landscape, and some great African game footage, you will not regret it! I've never really had an interest in hunting anywhere but North America, or any game species other Than North American game. Africa has never really interested me, until now. After watching Leo and Will's DVD, I have a new appreciation for African game! This is one DVD that I will be watching several times. Besides, I like listening to LEO. The hunts give you non-stop action, and the editing is superb. It's not just kill after kill. It gets you there and makes you feel like you're part of the hunts. They show the hunts pretty much from start to finish and it never gets boring. It really made you feel like you were right there with them in the blinds and in the field, even feeling their pain during a few missed shots. I could watch the slide show over and over again. Beautiful sunsets and great landscape for sure. AWESOME job guys! LEO's Narration of these great hunts was as professional as it gets. His calm voice sets the mood, and the African background music was a great touch. This is not like any "Home Video" I have ever seen before. It should be in the stores. Besides getting a great Hunting DVD for your buck, and getting to listen to, and watch one of our loved and respected forum members(LEO), all proceeds of the sale of this DVD go to helping LEO get some of his game animals mounted. Most folks here know, that LEO is a Brain injury survivor and is on a fixed Government disability pension, so helping him off-set these costs is a very small thing we can all do for him. For those of you, who don't know Leo all that well, here he is. When I look at these progressive pictures of Leo, after his accident, I see God's loving hand at work, restoring and repairing what was once almost lost. Leo has come a long way over the years, and I know he gives God, all the glory. Meet our friend LEO, who has been a great contributing forum member here for many years. Personally, I never really wanted to go to Africa on a hunt, but I've know Leo and Will through another Forum for a while and decided to order one. After watching it, all I could say was "wow!" It makes NO sense to me at all ... KUDO's to you Leo and all envolved in this DVD ,, it's a definate 10 STAR Video and those that don't get it are loosing out bigtime .. I doubt it has bud. I didn't get the check in the mail till just the other day due to the doc and all the tests he's been running. Been pretty busy with him and the kids. I have one and have seen it quite often. I would like to offer a bit of background on Will and Leo. I have personally met Will and he is a great guy, a guy I would hunt with anytime and any place. I have not yet met Leo face to face but I will one of these days. Leo's injury was severe an injury most of us would not have lived through. Not only did Leo survive he is still the walking encyclopedia he always was. I do not mean to say he does not have problems, he does, big ones only controlled with some powerful meds. It was Leo's dream to go to Africa but the prospect looked very dim. Up steps Will. Will saw to it that Leo got to Africa, looked after him like a brother. Leo knew that there were no funds for his African trophies to get mounted. To coin a phrase "where there is a Will, there is a way", Will is selling the very good video of their trip to help pay for the mounting bill. I know that Leo was on cloud 9 after he got back and may still be on cloud 8. Not often is there an opportunity to buy a video of this quality and at the same time any money over the cost will help pay for for the visual proof of a man's dream. Think of how you feel when you look at one of your mounts or antlers and the warm feeling and smiles and you are immediately mentally transported right back to the hunt.
