SuperMn106
I have been doing a lot of smallmouth fishing this past week so i thought i would share some pics. First off I will say that I do not know any other place where I could go and each time out catch 20+ smallmouth. I love catching these, no matter if they are 4 inches or 20 inches they will put up a fight. Day after day the size of the fish started to increase. I have fished 5 of the last 7 seven days and caught a total of 112 smallmouth, 10 rock bass and 4 walleye. Hope you enjoy these pics. Little Rock Bass Even the little guys were hungry, the rapala is 3" long for comparison. The best fish, 17" A split in the river, the island is about 60 yards long and 10-15 yards wide. i thought this was a neat pic

Guest Michigander
Hey SuperMn, are you fishing the flint river? We fish the river where it crosses Mount Morris rd and have been killing the smallies with floating Rapala in the perch color. We have caught one rock bass and several walleye also. I fish it closer to m-57. Usually just south of 57. All of my fish have came a floating rapala also but in a darker color.
