wtnhunt
Got the scope on over the weekend and shot a few rounds. Pretty happy with the groups so far shooting ultramax 55 gr soft points, will move out my target this weekend and probably try some of the black hills ammo. hangunnr
Nice looking rig. That mount looks to be quite a bit taller than the Armalite one I have. I've had good results with the Black Hills fodder. hangunnr

wtnhunt
That mount looks to be quite a bit taller than the Armalite one I have. Think this mount is going to work out great hangunnr. Have good eye relief and a good comfortable cheek weld. With that scope, the warne qd mounts might have worked out, but it would have been close. WaCoyote
Very nice!!! I looked at th RR myself but had a small maker build mine. I'm thinking about another someday. Think I may build my own next time though. It'll give me something to do in the off season.
wtnhunt
Yep, I checked with the guy you suggested at d-tech, and he could not have built me a custom for what I got this semi custom rock river for. This rifle has the national match 2 stage trigger and the heavy stainless barrel, for the custom with all the features of this rifle from d-tech would have run me quite a bit more than what I gave for this one. I am pretty happy with it so far.

bowana
Nice set up! I've got a couple myself. Built a lower using a Colt Match Grade Receiver, Timney 2-stage. Then mated it to a American Spirit Arms 26" Bull Barrel. On a good day it will shoot .500 groups at 100. I like your set up better. I should pawn off my upper and get the same set up from Wilson. My other rig is an M-4 configuration with a heavy 16" barrel and a HALO sight (Bushmaster Lower) same trigger and 6 position Buttstock (4 rails weapons platform also holds a sure-fire light). Makes a great Ground Hog gun for my garden which is 65 meters from my back door. Thanks for the pics!!
