Guest Finn
Roger Clemens is now 1-3 with a 5.32 ERA. Not quite worth a million a show-up, eh? That is the start I was kinda hoping he'd have. Maybe we won't have to watch his every move next spring to see if he will honor MLB with his presence 2 months after the 2008 season begins. Tominator
He's laughing all the way to the bank, and so am I. I love seeing Steinbrenner throw money at a "problem" and watching it fall on its face.
Guest Finn
Yeah, I'm not disappointed about seeing ol' Georgie waste some cash!
Master_Chief
He is done. No strike outs last night, first time in 600 and some games. In 99 pitches last night off all the swings the orioles took they only missed the ball 4 times. I say keep him in there. GO SOX!!!!!
muggs
Looks like Father Time is finally catching up with him. I love to see it too. Special treatment, huge contract, and for what? Steinbrenner could have traded a AA prosepect for a mid-level starter and saved himself 15 million smackos. The best was how they announced his great return, from on high, in Steinbrenner's luxury box. Yikes... The Yankees are done.

buckbuster11
Clemens got to full of himself and now its catching up to him. He thinks he's so good he can take 7 months off, pick up a baseball in June, and turn himself into the best pitcher in the league in two weeks. And I'm sure its even harder now that he has to be careful about jamming himself full of beef roids.....oops did I say that out loud? I tell ya, it's guys like him and that Favre character that really make me sick.:D:D:D

muggs
Craig, that one was for you buddy, but my principals won't allow me to not mention him (#4) on every single post. Once the Pack losses a few consectutive games and ole Favre starts letting his true colors show, I'll be on him like white on rice. John makes some good points though. Clemens and performance enhancing drugs undoubtedly went together like peas and carrots. And seriously, he's a Hall of Famer, but when you're 44 years old (or whatever he is) you just can't pick up where you left off when you've been sitting at home forever. Guest Finn
guess it ain't over yet 8 innings, 2 hits and 1 run...he's still got something in that tank
muggs
He's previous start was pretty bad though Craig. I see him getting injured shortly after the All-Star break anyway. No way that guy holds up, he's by far in the worst shape I've ever seen him. He must be hitting up Krispy Kreme on those "no travel" days they granted him. Not to mention, even when The Rocket can give them a good outing, that still means they're only winning 1 out of 10 games. A-Rod might be on his way to the DL too. That works well for me in two ways. One, I hate the Yanks and two, I'm playing Kevin in the RT Fantasy league this week and that's the only player that produces for him. No joke.:DIt really looks like he has packed on the pounds. Must the roids and not working out.:p But he did have a good outing lastnight. And congrats to him for 350 wins. muggs
Actually, he's being off the roids might be a huge reason. Think about, if there's one guy that's should be suspected, it's him. In his 40's and still firing it up there like he did during that era.
buckbuster11
Not to mention his forehead size tripled in the last 10 years. But, that's just normal growth.
toddyboman
Oh I was just speaking from experience. When I took steriods I got so fat some people see pictures of me from that time and ask who is that. Granted he hasn't got that big yet but he is getting fat.
