Help on Duck Boat project

I have a 16 ft john boat that I duck hunt out of, and cant afford a new boat. I am gonna custom build me a blind, and could use some help with the design ideas. Another thing is, I want to do some big water hunting down in South Ga, and I am trying to design some kind of outrigger pontoons to stabilize my boat in big water, cause it is less than 4 feet wide. I could really use some help on this. The blind is not big of an issue, but I could really use some help on designing the stabilizing pontoons, cause I wanna be able to figure out some kind of way to be able to raise them out of the water when I am running on the water, and lower them when I am in position. I need them to not interfere with my duck blind. I could really use some help on this yall. You southern hunters out there- Yall help me figure it out, I will trade a hunt for design ideas.

i can't help you but check out this site. There are lots of "How to's" on modifying boats/blinds. Check out the sticky posts on the top. Lots of info.
