hangunnr
Got back to the range with the Sendero today with perfect atmospheric conditions. 72 degrees with no wind and slightly overcast. Perfect for shooting. After about a dozen sighters to get the scope centered after changing the mount and rings I let the barrel cool then set out to shoot groups. I've been doing some load development in effort to find the right combo.......The right load was found.... This group was fired off front rest and rear sand bag. I don't believe I'll put any more effort into load development. This is the smallest group I've ever fired with any type of firearm. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement. Moved over to the 225yd range after this and shot a couple groups with the same load. The mirage was wild making the target appear to jump around quite abit. Still was able to record this group. I think it's possible to clean up the flier but that'll have to wait till the next range session. Nothing better than shootin bug holes with an OTPG gun..... hangunnr

Strut10
Now that's what I'm talkin' about!! Darned shame those OTPG are just fire-belching bullet sprayers...........not capeable of any sort of acceptable accuracy, you know. You get that gun shooting a little better and you may be able to take it hunting.........if you limit your shots to close range.
doubleA
Very nice shooting Handgunner, now is the time to shoot a few more groups with that recipe I have been doing some load development myself and start out at 300 yards. My groups on average are right at an inch with a 140 SMK in a 6.5x284. I decided to shoot this load at 100 yds the other day and these were the results. The upper left would have been a screamer, it's 5 shots but I pulled the last shot, the 6.5 140 SMK there is pointing at it. The lower left is a 3 shot group fired with same bullet. The far right target is the factory test target, it was fired with the Sierra 140 SMK and is 3 shots. Great accuracy can be had with any cartridge, I will soon start some load development with the 338 Lapua.

Texan_Til_I_Die
You get that gun shooting a little better and you may be able to take it hunting.........if you limit your shots to close range. Yeah, if I were you, I'd limit myself to no more than 600 yard shots at game. Unless of course it's a hog or a coyote. If you can see those things, they're in range!
