Is there some sort of medium that you can take out into the field with you that you can plug your Compact Flash cars into and download the pictures from the card onto. I want to say I have seen one before. There are times I dont have a laptop with me when I go to download so I want something that I dont have the bring the camera or the card back with me.

I always just switch cards.

Heck as small and cheap as cards are thats what I think the easiest method is.

I know some companies make some devices you can view and transfer pictures.

Here is some of those such devices.

Those gadgets are all nice but to be honest you are better to do as mentioned above and just double up on your cards take one out and put a new one in, cheaper and more reliable

That is what I do too, but if you have 4 or 5 cameras or more, that is 8 or 10 cards or more. I am currently running 4 trail cameras in the field, then also have my digital slr and another p41, and another card in my handycam too. Honestly not really sure between compact flash and sony memory sticks just how many cards total I even actually have at this point. A single storage device like that one on the link I gave at pix site would be nice, but personally I cannot justify dropping $129 for it since I already have plenty of cards. If a person was just getting into camming and had no cards yet and had intentions of using multiple cams, a storage device would probably be the way to go.
