Guest ronin
As many of you may know, I am a avid Barnes Bullet fan. It is the best hunting bullet on the market, IMO. I recently ranged in five loads for my 300 RUM to get an idea of what my rifle liked best. Rifle: Savage 116 Weather Warrior 300 Remington Ultra Mag Remington case, Winchester LR Mag primer, Reloader 22, and the BARNES MRX 165 GR bullet. 90 gr = 1.25 MOA 90.5 = 1.5 MOA 91 = .50 MOA 91.5 = 1 MOA 92 = .50 MOA I usually hunt with TSX or VLC X Bullet but think I will switch to the MRX. They are incredibly expensive but my groups tightened up significantly and the tungsten based core of the MRX appears to stabilize the bullet even more. It will be interesting to see the extreme range results of this bullet.
257bob
Thanks for the info. I was considering going with triple shocks when I get my 7mm RUM built. I have never shot them, but have only heard good things.
