Bachflock
I had a gent send me a message on a different website offering to sell me his used Pearson Diamondback for $75. I'd have to unload a few things to raise the money to get it but if that's a decent price I'd be more than willing to do that. I haven't the slightest what the submodel is and I'm waiting on more information from him. What do you think? I'll be content with my Bear Blacktail Hunter but if the price is right I'd have no problem getting something 25 years more up-to-date! Thanks ahead of time... Edited to add: Here are futher details... Right handed 70 lbs. 28 inch draw Whisker Biscuit Cobra 3-pin sight Limb Saver stabiler 6 Carbon Excel arrows 3 Monotec broadheads
Gator
Get pictures first and foremost. I don't think the Diamondback is that old of a bow, may be, I'm not sure. Check his feedback, how long as he been a member on that sight? Has the bow ever been dry fired? A bow that cheap makes me wonder??? Now, to the bow, never shot a DB, but have shot a couple of other Pearsons, and they are, by far, the QUIETEST bow I have ever seen. They are quieter than my Switchback. I just shot with a guy last weekend, and man that thing was quiet!!!!!
Griz
75 bucks for that bow kinda sounds alittle fishy to me. Like maybe something is very wrong with it. Like a cracked limb or something. I have shot a Diamond Back before and they are quiet bows. I felt like the bow had to much hand shock in it. I personally didn't really care for it myself... JMO... But yeah I would get pics of the bow and really look them over and be sure to ask questions about it also. Hey for a Diamond Back Bow...75 bucks is a heck of a steal for it if it's in good shape... Yes you have:D, you just may not have know it. The one that I had was a DiamondBack VX. As far as that bow.... it is super quite, I would have put it up against any Mathews I have for noise. Good Luck.

I hadn't thought about it being broken... good point. To be fully honest I know very little about today's bows other than brand new you can really drop some serious money. I spoke with a gent at the local bow shop and he couldn't believe the deal either. Its a quandry...
Washi
It could be stolen.
Bachflock
It could be stolen. One advantage of working where I do, should it end up being stolen I can find out easily enough and take care of it that way. I'd still be out the money. However, if its a legitimate deal I'd feel bad looking a gift horse in the mouth!
Bachflock
Update! He got back to me and apparently I miss understood. He posted to bow for sale with the accessories at a different price. The price he's offered me is the bare bow. It is my misunderstanding. Thoughts on $75 for the bare bow?
