JimT
Re: snowmobiles I like to snowmobile. Lots of fun. I am not into it since the kids came along like I used to be. I have probably ridden over 20,000 miles. Have a 1997 Indy 500 and will upgrade when my son is old enough to go with us. Hopfully will get the RX1 if they still make it in a few years, or the sled that replaces it.
MichiganHuntr1
Re: snowmobiles That RX1 is a nice sled. Like Nick said it all depends how much you ride. I normally only ride on the weekends, because we dont get much snow where I live. So I have to travel 200 Miles north, or go to the U.P. I have a 2003 Skidoo MXZ REV Sport, 600 H.O. Its one awesome sled. I can smoke most sleds I ride with. Voted No. 1 sled that year as well! It was used when we bought it, but barely used. Couple hundred miles. ( I put 136 miles on it last week on one day) Good Luck and Have fun snowmobiling Dustin
wtnhunt
Re: snowmobiles 2004 Honda foreman 450. What little snow we get, a snowmobile would see no usage here.

Shaun_300
Re: snowmobiles dad got us a used sled for christmas about 4 yrs ago. its a 1996 Skidoo Formula SLS 500. i LOVE that machine. its modified and performance tuned so she really goes. i have a racing clutch in it so it beats the 700s off the start top speed is about 160k (100mph). fast enough for me:D
MUDRUNNER
Re: snowmobiles I SURE MISS MY SKIDOO FORMULA Z.MY FIRST SLED WAS A 1975 PANTHER.I THINK IT WAS A 400 OR 440 I DON'T REMEMBER.NO WAY IT COULD KEEP UP WITH MY 583 THOUGH.I LOVED GOING 90 MPH IN THE SNOW.SOME DAY I'LL GET ANOTHER..SKI-DOO OF COURSE. coles
Re: snowmobiles my bro just got a snowmobile a couple months ago. its a 1994 polaris indy 600. he got it from a guy for 700 bucks and it is in real good condition. the engine was just rebuilt and it cost the guy 900$ to do that so he got a really good deal. he worked for it all summer and the guy said thats how he got is first one so he gave him a deal. we finally got snow last weekend and he got to ride it a little bit. he went 90mph! not the smartest thing he has ever done. we got more snow last night but my dad wont let him ride it cuz it needs to be re-jetted for this altitude. but anyways. cole
MichiganHuntr1
Re: snowmobiles 100 thats not too much slower than mine! I dont know that actual top speed, I got it going like 100ish and had some throttle left, but I left off. Fields are smooth, so if i go too fast on bumps, bye bye michiganhuntr1!
