Waterfowl Training DVD?

We just picked up our black lab pup yesterday and I want to get her started in house training and waterfwol retrieving as soon as possible. What is a good training DVD that you guys have used to train your pups? I need to get her used to guns also. What training things do I need? I am new to training pups for hunting dogs, all my other pets have been family animals.

I prefer DVDs to books, as I think I suffer from adult onset A.D.D, videos hold my attention better...:D

I have the "Retriever Fever" series by Shawn Dustin. Am training my first Lab as well, and he lays out a pretty good plan. There are three DVDs -- Puppy, Gun Dog, and Advanced. He focuses on competition and waterfowl hunting, and threw in a little bit of upland hunting. They are easy to understand and follow. Also, I had some questions and went to his website, found an email, and asked him. He responded quickly and really seemed like he wanted to help. I don't know if he likes people doing that or not, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Good luck with your pup. My dog is almost 2 yrs, I don't think he is where I would like him to be, but he is the first dog I have trained and I have learned a lot. He will have his first waterfowl hunt this fall. Just remember to be patient and calm, and welcome mistakes as learning experiences. Also, the DVDs go into introducing the gun, but it isn't right away. You want to have fun retrieving first, then bring in the gun. They will learn to associate the gun with retrieves and fun.
