I lift 4 or 5X a week. Not for competing or anything, but I just want to stay healthy, stay in shape, and look younger than I really am.LOL.When I turned 30 I decided to start taking a little better care of myself...better late than never.I'm taking 2 weeks of now due to moving, but plan on getting back at it next week.

You take any supplaments?

Folks, I know Fatty and Fatty knows me so I can get away with saying this to him.

You wouldn't need to lift so much if you weren't such a girly-man!!!

I lift 5 days a week, but don't compete anymore. I had more injuries than I care to remember from competing in lifting competitions. But I still love to get in the gym during the week to stay cut up. Did compete in a few "Clean" bodybuilding competitions a few years back. I'm about 50 lbs lighter than I was back in those days. Good luck to ya and be careful.

i am in the gym or out doing some cardio almost every day, i run a three day split and then do a cardio day and then a day off or i might start the 3 day split over, depends on how i feel. you have to let your body recover, sometimes a few days off and you feel like a brand new man. i wouldnt have to work out so much if i would eat better!

I try and compete at least once a year. I am pretty serious with lifting and my hunting. I cannot do anything half ass or w/o being obsessed my wife says.

I lift 4x week, 3 of those days I finish with cardio. I have competed in about 25 competitons and as training for the Europa Pro raw benchpress competition taking place in Dallas in the middle of August. this will be my 1st professional competition.

My best benchpress equipped is 610lbs and my best in the raw division is 515lbs. Obviously raw is much harder, no equipment allowed. I am about 6'1" and compete at 275 pounds. Chest 56", shoulders 65" and arms a tiny 20" cold. I will post a picture some time, then you guys can make fun of me and understand why i am known as "fatty".

Glad to see so many lifters, even if some are 12 oz'ers.

Train safe

Not so much any more.

I lifted hard for the better part of roughly 6 years. In the past year and a half I haven't dont much. Life got way to busy, especially after my daughter was born. Id love to get back in the Gym but work and life take up way to much time for me.

Not so very long ago my body fat was almost in the single digits. I was benching close to twice my body weight. I had lats, defined delts, and could run two miles without taking a deep breath......

Now I walk across the room, pick up a Twinkie, and I have to take a break on the way back to the couch.... :D Seriously, I miss it a lot.

I don't lift weights unless you count a fork full of food!! But I do sit-ups....well actually a "sit-up"....half when I wake up and get out of bed and the other half when I lay back down!!!:D

Dawg,

You and I seem to have the same trainer ;)
