RangerClay
I have a food plot that I am going to mow and kill off for a Secret Spot plot. Right now it is nothing but weeds but I have deer feeding in it almost every day, including fawns. If I spray Round-Up to kill the weeds, will the deer ingest the Round-Up and get sick, especially my fawns? I'm curious.

deerslayer79
Nope, monsanto did a study about the amount of glyphosate type products that it takes to actually harm animals ect...your average size domesticated dog needs to ingest 10x it's bodyweight at one time to make it ill.I think the deer/fawns will notice the smell and leave it alone first. wtnhunt
Thought about this the other day when I sprayed our rr soybean plot. Really was not sure what type effects short or long term it might have.
rhine16
Be careful when you mow it so that you dont run over any fawns. We've had that happen many times while cutting hay, but maybe they're big enough now that they arent bedding up all day
