BowtechTurkeyHunter
What is up with this? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,288972,00.html Not quite sure how appealing this will get what they want ... sound like they are in some serious trouble here ... dogdoc
not really that big of a deal IMO. Lose one recruiting coach for the next few years and a couple more scholarships. I don't think it will hurt ZeroU much. They are loaded with talent and Poops, I mean Stoops, will keep the talent rolling in.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
No scholarships ... no bowl games ... playing for nothing is no big deal ? lol and you loose everything you played for last year? ... seemed like a lot to me ... oh well Steve
dogdoc
Steve--they only lost 4 extra scholarships over 2 yeas (so that equals 2 a year). They lost all the wins for the 2005 season (big deal). They are still bowl elgible during the probation and can still compete for the national championship. They didn't lose any money earned during the 2005 season and they did not get banned from TV. It was very minor IMO.
Jeramie
I agree with Todd. Its very Minor. Erased games from 2005 wont do much now. Im thankful (because I am a fan of OU. Honestly Im glad they didn't get punished. They rid themselves of the players immediately but still had to suffer some consequences. Hopefully they wont let that effect their season this year.
