It was running inside but I noticed the temp was rising on the thermostat. Ran outside and the fan is not turning.:mad: Great. Called the a/c guy and he will be here in a few hours. Already 80 something in the house. :(

wtnhunt
Too bad you filled in your pool eh? lol. Was thinking the same thing, where I would be. Our ac went out while the wife was pregnant couple summers ago smack dab in the middle of the hottest part of the summer. Got home from work and the fan motor was not running. Was pretty darned hot in the house, but we made it through and the next day I changed the motor but still had a problem, fortunately the ac guy I use was able to make it out and get it going for me. texastrophies
Yeah, if nothing else, I guess I can crank the truck and sit in it. LMBO. Might be cheaper and def. more comfortable to get a motel room for the night.

toddyboman
Nice rain storm just rolled through the area so the outside temp is around 69 to 70. Nice and cool here.
Shaun_300
That sucks Andrea! Always has to happen when it's very hot outside doesn't it? At 7:00pm we're at 62 degrees here with a nice 5mph cool breeze, I love it. Perfect temp!

BowtechTurkeyHunter
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh. Got her fixed. Nice and cold again. Didn't cost but $55 too!!! :):):) Was it just the fuse/breaker? seems cheap enough to get it fixed Steve
stevebeilgard
yep. i'll bet it was just a breaker. clean your outside unit, and change your in house heater/air filter. a clogged air filter will kill an ac unit. in fact, change filters every month to every quarter.
