okiedog
I'm old scholl, I still use Gateway 4" Feathers. Same here just done fleching a couple of dozen the other day for this season. I've pretty much tried them all but always come back to feathers form my hunting arrows. I like the way they fly and also think they look great. Now I do shoot blazers on my X-Cutter 3D arrows, but when things start getting that tight, fletchings take a beating.

I will be shooting 4" Gateway feathers on my hunting arrows, but will be setting up my Easton Fatboys with blazers

Tony
i shoot Blazers for my Goldtip 5575 pro hunter hunting arrows. 1.75 inch flex fletch on my Goldtip 22 series pro 3D arrows, 4 inch feathers on my Goldtip 30 X pro Indoor arrows and 5 inch feathers on my 5575 Goldtip traditional recurve arrows. fletching for me all comes from what i want the arrow to do. i experiment a little to find what works best for that arrow out of that perticular bow. i like to try and set up a arrow that has a good FOC. this depends on how heavy a fletch as to the weight of the tip of the arrow i want. best thing to do is just flecth up 2 or 3 and try them out. Shoot Strong Tony
Muzzy61
I' ve always used the 4 inch vanes. What are the advantages of the blazer vanes?
Guest Finn
I'm not a new school hunter...been bow hunting for over 20 years. When a product works and is easy to use, I go with it Blazers are tough and work great.....that's why I use them on my GT Pro Hunters
Guest titleist_03
I use 2 white and 1 orange blazer vanes. I've used them for 3 years now and don't even plan on switching.
NYBowhunter71
I use 4" quik spins on my hunting arrows. I am told the slow my arrows down a bit but I find I get a tighter grouping with them.
AdvantageTimberLou
4" NAP Quik Spins
LifeNRA
I' ve always used the 4 inch vanes. What are the advantages of the blazer vanes? They stabilize the arrow faster coming out of the bow. I think they are quieter and the arrows seem to be a bit faster too. They work great in a Whisker Biscuit rest too!
buckee
Ya just can't beat those Bohning vanes, especially if your shooting through a Whisker Biscuit. They are Bohning tough
toddyboman
Have to agree with the Blazers especially if your using a WB. Quick Spin work well too. :D

Guest okla_bowhunter
another for blazers, they sure helped me tighten my groups.
Guest doublelung
I shoot the QS but my friend shoots blazer staggering them ever 1/2 inche down the shaft so you get a longer fletching in the spin he holds great groups and it really helped to control the fixed broadheads.
