Guest Hunter196
I was lucky enough to draw a tag in kansas. must use iron sights for first hunt. I want to shoot the 195 Gr from precision.com - 3" high @ 100 Yd = 4" low @ 200 Yds. No I don't think I can use iron sights @ 200 Yds, but I can with a scope if I go on second season. Has anyone had any luck with these bullets? Have checked the QLA and it measures within .005 Sent rifle back to T/C & had trigger reworked - very nice now. I have lapped the barrel Shot many bullets some with 1 3/4" groups @ 100 Yds
Guest gt2003
There are a lot of people that have had good success with the duplex sabots. Go to www.prbullet.com and look at the bullet selection chart. It will give you a good idea of what bullet type/weight to choose based on the twist of your barrel. Then, figure out how far you can confidently shoot and then find a load that your gun likes at that distance. Cecil and the rest of the staff are great at helping out. Call or email them if you have any questions. Good luck in finding what works best for you.
Guest sabotmaker
I've shot several deer and a bunch of wild hogs with the Precision Rifle Duplex DeadCenter 175 grain bullet in my T/C Omega. One deer and a few hogs with the 195 grain bullet. Very accurate and the bullets perform very well on game. One of my favorite loads is 110 grains (by volume)of Hodgdon Triple 7 3f with either of the bullets above.
