Tony Posted July 23, 2007 Report Share Posted July 23, 2007 number 1 rule, make sure the targets are in a safe setting. 2. do not block the vitals with brush. narrow shooting lanes are great, but brush or sticks in front of the target makes for unsure arrows. 3. use the terrain to make people not see the yardage all the way to the target. use a slight hill or hump half way there to make it hard. setting targets that you have to shoot from sunlight into shade are super tough. add up hills and down hill shots if possible. targets do not have to be a long ways away to be difficult. maybe you could go to a few locla shoots and see how they do it. deerkillr777 Posted July 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2007 i got one up hill shot abotu 15 yards 1 shot with a little dip inbetween were the target is in the shade and u stand kinda in the sun that is a good 20 yard shot i am working on my downhill shot were it will eb about 15 to 20 yards down hill i going ot be doing another one were u got a good 20 to 30 yard shot across a power lind into the other wood lot kinda on a down hill slop i am just woprking on more as i go i will keep u guys posted keep the info coming on some good target placement Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
