xOZx
Got me a handful of birthday money and I'm afraid if I put it in my pocket it will burn clean through. I need me a climbing stand. I have reviewed some old posts and it looks like the Viper SS is a popular model. Please anyone chime in on what you think. Bar or no bar? The Viper has the bar across front and the broadhead and backpacker do not. Being a first time deer hunter, is it in my best interest to get the bar? Safety wise? What about comfort? Are the broadhead or backpacker as comfortable as the Viper? I hear good things about comfort in the Viper...I expect many hours of sleep in this thing! Guest bowhunter56
if you have any basspro stores near by, check when they are having their hunting classic, you can pick up some good deals then. i have 2 summits, both with out bar, which i like for bow hunting, and have no trouble rifle hunting out of it either. wtnhunt
Dont think you could go wrong with a summit. Got a python model here and it is very comfortable, and pretty quiet too.
