Benelli JUNK

I've had it with Benelli, let me explain.

I bought a 20ga. M1 1 1/2 years ago, I have had nothing but problems trying to get this thing to hit POA/POI, I have tried 4 different chokes, they shot good patterns but were a foot low and a foot left.

I sent the gun back to Benelli 2 times to get this problem fixed.

First time, they said it shoots to thier spec's...I told them I don't shoot turkeys with #8 shot and that this was unacceptable to me, especially when I paid about $1100.00 for the gun.

Second time, I spoke to them on the phone and told them this gun was bought specifally for turkey hunting and that I would even pay for them to shoot turkey loads (any turkey load) to get the gun right, I asked if they would replace the barrel...nope, they sent it back without doing anything.

So, when I get home in August, I will take a chop saw or porta-band saw and cut the gun up into 2" pieces and send the piece of TRASH back to Benelli, it will probably shoot the same way as it does now.

Then my 12ga. Benelli SBE will be sold. I have made it very clear to Benelli what I was going to do, and that they have lost a customer for EVER, and if I can, I will let everyone know how Benelli DIDN'T take care of this problem and how it was handled, and that I will try my hardest to send them to another gun company.

So future buyer's BEWARE, Benelli will NOT help you if you have a problem with thier gun.

It isn't the matter of making money off a piece of junk, it is the principle of it.

I want Benelli to know how much I DON'T CARE about thier product, that I would rather cut it up, then to give my problem to someone else.

I just have to ask, because I've never heard of a shotgun patterning low, high, right or left, without it being the user's fault.

Are you unsteady as a shooter, due to some disability or something?

Are you sure it's the shotgun, and not you?

By the way, just so you know for the future. We don't allow Brand Bashing on this site. Constructive criticism is OK, but not Bashing.

Yes...shotguns can pattern low, high, right, left etc... My turkey gun shot a little high and to the left...put on a red-dot scope and made adjustments just like a rifle. It patterns great now and wouldn't want another turkey gun.

Cutting the gun up and sending it back will do nothing but short you $. You stated in another post how much the gun costs...so the $ is a little important. I'd sell it and cut your losses...there are folks here willing to buy it (KNOWING) what issues your having with it...sell it! You think Benelli will care if you cut it up? They already got your money...sorry you've had a bad experience with their product and customer service.

Benelli make probably one of the worlds best Semi auto's sorry you had such a bad experience with them ... we had just the opposite experience with a customer ... he had an M1 and where the barrel slides over the tube that piece broke off and we sent it to Benelli and they fixed it absolutely no questions asked ... and they did it very fast considering it had to go to Italy to get it fixed ... I think they make an exceptional shotgun ... yes they are expensive but they sure are worth it in the long run.
