Guest towermonkey
I've had it with Benelli, let me explain. I bought a 20ga. M1 1 1/2 years ago, I have had nothing but problems trying to get this thing to hit POA/POI, I have tried 4 different chokes, they shot good patterns but were a foot low and a foot left. I sent the gun back to Benelli 2 times to get this problem fixed. First time, they said it shoots to thier spec's...I told them I don't shoot turkeys with #8 shot and that this was unacceptable to me, especially when I paid about $1100.00 for the gun. Second time, I spoke to them on the phone and told them this gun was bought specifally for turkey hunting and that I would even pay for them to shoot turkey loads (any turkey load) to get the gun right, I asked if they would replace the barrel...nope, they sent it back without doing anything. So, when I get home in August, I will take a chop saw or porta-band saw and cut the gun up into 2" pieces and send the piece of TRASH back to Benelli, it will probably shoot the same way as it does now. Then my 12ga. Benelli SBE will be sold. I have made it very clear to Benelli what I was going to do, and that they have lost a customer for EVER, and if I can, I will let everyone know how Benelli DIDN'T take care of this problem and how it was handled, and that I will try my hardest to send them to another gun company. So future buyer's BEWARE, Benelli will NOT help you if you have a problem with thier gun. Dean
hangunnr
First off, who did you deal with at Benelli? If you were dealing with some schmuck in the repair department then you need to go way over his head. Demand to speak to every manager that'll answer a phone. In other words be as much as a pain in their rear as you can. It sounds to me like you have a mis-aligned thread on the barrel where the tube screws in. Either that or a bent barrel. There isn't much else that would cause this condition. hangunnr
CrAzYCoYoTe
I totaly agree man. You aint suposed to be talkin bad a bout certain companies or brands of firearms. Its brand bashing. I myself have a buddy who has a Benelli SBEII and its the most reliable dependable and non-recoil shotgun ive ever shot.

I don't consider this brand bashing. He, IMO is venting his disgust with the way the company has treated him. I don't see any problem with sharing bad experiences about any company as long as it's done in a mature manner. hangunnr
Guest towermonkey
hangunnr, I agree, it might be a mis-aligned thread or bent barrel, my problem now is with the way they handled the situation, I even sugested they try another barrel or exchange it...NOPE, they wouldn't do it. crazycotote, Of course I'm bashing Benneli on this, why you think I posted the results here. What do you want me to say...OH!, Benelli's gun shoots off a foot, but because they are such a big company I'll let it go, yea right. I paid over $1000 for the gun, you would think it could shoot straight. I don't care if they sent me a new one, I'm done with them. I'm letting everyone know what they may run into whith this company if they ever have a problem with a gun.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Simple enough to find out if it's the shotgun or the shooter, just hand it to someone else and see where it shoots. I don't blame you for being mad at the company. It sure sounds like their customer service department needs an attitude adjustment.
Guest towermonkey
You are right Tex, I have had 2 other shooters try the gun, same results...even though I was sniper qualified in the service and taught these guy's how to shoot better, I wanted different shooters to confirm the problem. LifeNRA
After reading both threads on this, one was deleted I think. Well, I know it was because I offered you $200! LOL! Anyways, I think you need to cool down, call them back up, and ask them to look the gun over! Keep calling them until they get sick of you calling so much! Sooner or later you will find the right person that will help you! I wish I had some better answers for you, but I don't. Hopefully you will have some better luck soon! BTW, is there any physical damage on this gun? Might hurt your chances if so. If not get back on the phone and keep explaining the problem! Swamphunter
I'll tell you this only once. Keep your comments about other forum members to yourself. His sole purpose on these forums is to badmouth Benelli. He states so in his original post in the turkey room. He is trying to reach out to as many people as possible to hurt their business. I do not own a Benelli, but if that is his only purpose, (every single one of his 4 posts were identical in nature), I wonder to myself "why hasn't he been banned"? Maybe I am wrong here, but shouldn't he at least get a warning from a moderator? (excluding the whooping handgunner just laid down on him for name calling). 1) Using the forums for the sole purpose of bad-mouthing Benelli to hurt their sales... 2) Name calling directed towards forum members in good standing... 3) Complete and utter sarcasm I wonder if this forum has an ignore user button....I'll have to go check.
