dogdoc
wow--i thought this was a World Series Pick thread and it took me 20 minutes to read it Detroit!
buckbuster11
We'll let it slide this time, buddy-boy. But next time, we'll have Eric call you and talk to you about Greg Oden's potential hall of fame career for 2 hours. Which will be followed up by a 30 minute seminar by John on the art of quarterbacking a superbowl team. Which will then be followed by a 4 hour energetic speech given by yours truly on the Dodgers extensive farm system. Do you really want that???? While you are at it maybe you can throw in a 30 minute explanation of how an Okie becomes a Los Angelas and Buffalo fan.
muggs
While you are at it maybe you can throw in a 30 minute explanation of how an Okie becomes a Los Angelas and Buffalo fan. I'll handle this one Kev. John, it's a simple answer...DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!! (or maybe those were the best teams in the early 90s when Kev got serious about sports).;)
MCH
As always, you're right guys. I mean, being from Oklahoma, I basically have a plethura of sports teams to choose from. I really sorry for you guys. You don't have as many choices as I do, but unfortunately, all your choices suck. :DGood morning.

buckbuster11
Yeah like we are real jealous of your mighty Buffalo Bills.
muggs
Kev- you want to wager my Browns have a better year than your Bills??? Even with my beloved Brownies playing in the toughest division in the league, I'm willing to place that bet.
MCH
Sure, I'll go that wager. I've got a good feeling about Losman this year. But it has to go by record alone. With the Patriots in our division, I don't see the playoffs coming this year.
muggs
I've got a good feeling about Losman this year. That's funny...so do the defenses he'll be facing this year. But it has to go by record alone. With the Patriots in our division, I don't see the playoffs coming this year. Deal. Even though the Browns start off the season vs. the Steelers, Ravens, and Bengals. (but I won't be surprised if we go 2-1 through that stretch- losing to the Bengals because they just kill us with their passing game). He stays healthy, Jamal Lewis is gonna have a huge year. Great sleeper fantasy pick right there boys.
MCH
Deal. Even though the Browns start off the season vs. the Steelers, Ravens, and Bengals. . I'll see your Steelers, Ravens and Bengals and raise you Broncos, Steelers and Patriots.
buckbuster11
Eric I cant believe your boys start off playing three division games in a row. Whoever came up with that schedule needs to be put down.
muggs
Eric I cant believe your boys start off playing three division games in a row. Whoever came up with that schedule needs to be put down. Yup. It's one of the worst schedules I've ever seen. The Steelers at home to open the season will be a blast (I'll be tailgating for that one) but after that, not only is their schedule extremely hard, its not setup well for the fans at all. Oh well, they won't get respect until they earn it. At least they have some street cred and a face now with Quinn in there.
