buckee
OK, I'm on the Hunt now, with my camera. I know I'll never be able to put this deer on the wall, because he's a city slicker, but by golly, I'll get him on camera if it's the last thing I do. I saw, for the first time in my life here, a beautiful non-typical blacktail, while taking my wife to work the other day (NO CAMERA). There were 6 bucks in a bachlor group, just a block away from where I live. 3 were on the small side, and then there was that 3x2 I keep getting pictures of, a nice 3x3, and a beautiful non-typical. I haven't got him on film yet, but I will. He has triple brows on both sides, with one long brow on his left facing down-ward. He also has some non-typical points going on on the rest of his rack, especially on the right side. Not sure right now, exactly how many points he has, but he sure looks nice. Here a few pics I got last night, and the night before, while out trying to hunt him down. Last night on the way home, I saw two coons scurry into the blackberries on the way back home, so I pretended to keep on walking past where they went in, and carefully sneeked back there, and waited. Sure enough, I saw the blackberries moving, and a little coon grumbling going on, and up pops this head..LOL

Swamphunter
I know I'll never be able to put this deer on the wall, because he's a city slicker Why can't you do it with yer knife? Isn't that the proper tool for the city?? It won't make a sound, there is no projectile with it and you are very adept with it!

Swamphunter
He's a wall hanger for sure. Is there any way to legally hunt this animal, or is it in a restricted area??
buckee
None of these deer can be hunted. They live in city limits, and sleep in peoples back yards Ken.. Nice to look at though We had a monster here a couple of years ago, that I got pictures of, and some idiot poached it in the middle of the night, right off the main drag here. They never got caught to my knowledge either.

The season is actually extended if you hunt in the city! Good luck on gettin pics of the NT.
